Vita

Michael Pagitsch studied Mechanical Engineering at RWTH Aachen University and has been working as a research assistant at the Center for Wind Power Drives since 2015. At the beginning of his employment, his scientific research primarily focused on measurement technology as well as the conception, installation and configuration of a measurement data acquisition system, comprising several hundred channels for the 4 MW WTG system test bench. From 2015 to 2018, Michael was involved in teaching and was responsible for the content of the lecture "Machine Design II/III" on the subject of gear geometry.

Since 2018, he has been heading the MSE/CWD "Digitalization" working group, which addresses questions of internal digital change at organisations. Michael's research activities focus on increasing the efficiency in the operation of wind turbines by using the potential of existing operating, status and maintenance data.
