Vita
Michael Schröder studied electrical engineering at RWTH Aachen University and graduated in May 2012. He then became a research assistant at the Institute of Electrical Machines at RWTH Aachen University. From October 2014 to October 2017, he was group leader of the group “Analysis and Design” with research topics in the area of soft and hard magnetic materials, insulating systems, and the structural dynamic and acoustic behavior of electrical machines.
Since November 2017, he has been a chief engineer of the Institute of Electrical Machines. In February 2020, Dr. Schröder received his PhD on the topic “Modeling and Analysis of Force Excitations in Permanent Magnet Excited Electrical Machines Under Consideration of Manufacturing Influences”.
