Tim Lazik, M.Sc. RWTH studied mechanical engineering at RWTH Aachen University and the University of Technology Sydney. With a specialisation in "Regenerative Energy Technologies", he focused primarily on issues in the context of the energy transition to renewables.
He successfully completed his studies with a master's thesis at the Chair for Wind Power Drives (CWD), in which he investigated an approach for improved real-time monitoring of wind turbines through the use of artificial intelligence. Since 2021, he has been employed as a research assistant at CWD and is working on the ReStroK research project.
