Certification
One of three research topics is the development of certification procedures for the overall system, which can be performed on the basis of test bench measurements. The aim is to provide an optional replacement of the insitu measurements that are currently destined in the IEC 61 400. Furthermore it is intended to add new conspicuous operation states to the states that are already declared in the norm. These operation states are intended to be determined with operation vibrations analyses.
The work package begins with the construction of an operation vibrations model of a wind turbine and the simulation of various operation scenarios in cooperation with the industry partners. The gathered results are validated on the system test rig. Afterwards, the project partners define and evaluate certification criteria.
An important subgoal of the work package is the integration of the efficiency measurement into the certification process. This is essential to prove the manufacturer's specifications on the produced amount of energy.
