First prize of the Schaeffler Foundation's Innovation Award goes to Dr. Francisco Gutiérrez Guzmán

Dr. Francisco Gutiérrez Guzmán is awarded the 2022 Schaeffler Innovation Award for his doctoral thesis entitled "White Etching Cracks in Oil-Lubricated Rolling Contacts".
In his research work, Dr. Francisco Gutiérrez Guzmán focused on the experimental determination of stress-side influencing parameters and their combinations as well as possible starting points for the prediction of white etching cracks.
This is the repeated time that a dissertation from the MSE has been awarded this prize.
