DynaWEA: Second of 3 project years completed!
The project DynaWEA aims to reduce noise radiation from wind turbines at an early stage of the design process. Scope of the project is to develop a tool in the form of a coupled dynamic and acoustic simulation and to validate the respective test bench and field measurements.
At the end of October, experts from industry and research participated in another project meeting. Important topics of the project meeting were the coupling of the work loads and the achievement of results in the last project year. So far, all project partners managed to stick to the schedule and to reach all pre-planned milestones.
It was a great pleasure for us to welcome our project partners from Enercon and Novicos as well as the Institute for Electrical Machines of the RWTH and the Institute for Technical Thermodynamics of the University of Kassel. We are looking forward to a successful cooperation in the DynaWEA project in 2021.
