AKPro students visit Schottel

A great semester of AKPro has come to an end. In the last six months, our two teams have developed interesting new concepts for the use of instream turbines for tidal power plants from SCHOTTEL Hydro and Sustainable Marine. Here we can see our two Teams during our visit at the SCHOTTEL production site in Dörth. A big Thank You to our partners at SCHOTTEL who gave us an exciting tour of the factory!
Tidal energy is a promising source of renewable power, especially for remote coastal communities. We are very proud of the work already done and look forward to the second half of AKPro! Here the students will further develop their concepts and take decisive steps towards their realisation.
